Malcolm and Lindsey Hyde recently purchased their four bedroom detached property with a double garage at Woodland Place in Billingshurst. Speaking with them shortly after they moved in, they reveal why a Rydon home at Woodland Place beat the local competition.
“Having lived in a Grade II listed cottage and never experienced buying new, we wanted a complete change and so a new house was a definite for us. Having extensively viewed new developments in the Horsham district there were a several factors that made us settle on Woodland Place:
- Ideal location – Other developments were either too isolated, or too close to main roads and dual carriageways
- Better quality – The of standard of the build was higher with Rydon Homes
- Access to transport – Woodland Place is very close to mainline rail
- Small scale – The development is small, self-contained and maintains a semi-rural feel compared to others nearby
The sale of our property took longer than planned, yet we felt under no pressure from the agent or Rydon Homes. With communication extremely good throughout the process, particularly from Dawn in the show home, it has all been a very grown up way of doing things. We’re very happy.
The designs of the homes in the development are also very pleasing to the eye and each has interesting features, such as large windows over the staircases, or use glazing to increase the sense of space. In the short time we’ve been here we’ve met all many of our neighbours who are all great to get along with. It’s reassuring to know you have purchased next to likeminded people.”
