Leading housebuilder, Rydon Homes, is launching an exciting new competition which will undoubtedly appeal to budding interior designers!

The competition, aimed at 7 to 11 year olds attending schools in the Crowborough area, is free to enter and offers a chance to win cash prizes totalling £400 to be divided equally between the winner and the school that he or she attends! As a bonus, top interior designer, Chris Daw of Claude Hooper, will design a scheme for the winner’s very own bedroom.

Entries are invited from individuals, groups of friends or from the schools themselves.  It’s easy to enter – just register and you’ll be sent a floor plan of the wonderful ‘hideaway’ bedroom on the uppermost floor of Lullington house type at Heatherview, Rydon’s successful new development in Crowborough.   Then all you have to do is to produce an A4 interior design ‘mood board’ featuring the floor plan along with a collage of textiles, paint colours, photographs of furniture and accessories you’d like to include in your dream bedroom.  Of course, Rydon’s interior designer, Chris Daw of Claude Hooper, will provide some guidance on how to create an eye-catching entry.  Children, accompanied by an adult, will also be able to view Rydon Homes’ current show scheme at Heatherview to get some design ideas!

Heatherview is set in an elevated position about a mile and a half from the town centre and within walking distance of the mainline railway station.  The collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes, created within an attractive landscaped setting, are priced from just £295,000 for a three-bedroom semi-detached family home.   Despite the current property market, homes at Heatherview are selling extremely well and one of the first families, The Wisdoms, moved in just before Christmas.
