Lizzy and Dave Cox enjoy the lifestyle in the village of Kirdford in West Sussex so much that, although they wanted a new home of their own, they didn’t want to move away - so when Rydon Homes began work on a range of new homes at Bourn Meadows in the heart of the village, they didn’t ‘hang around!’ Within a very short time, Lizzy and Dave had reserved a two-bedroom apartment at Bourn Meadows and now can’t wait to move in!

“We first visited Bourn Meadows to talk to the sales team as soon as building work last year,” says Dave. “At first, my wife spent nearly all her time up there, looking at plans and discussing the new homes. As soon as we discovered the apartments were within our price range, we decided to reserve the two-bedroom apartment off-plan. We may be in the midst of a property market downturn, but developments like Bourn Meadows are so rare, we knew if we didn’t buy straight away, we’d miss out! “This is a lovely development that has been created on a derelict brownfield site that was doing nothing for the village,” continues Dave. “There are proposals for a new village shop/tea room in the building that was, until recently, used as a marketing suite by Rydon Homes. Dave, who has been renting a home just down the road for ten years, and Lizzy, who moved there five years ago, are both fully involved in village life. The couple married in the village church two years ago, Dave used to run the village football team and Lizzy is currently captain of the stoolball team.
Dave and Lizzy have enjoyed watching the development grow and recently were amongst the first people to view the fabulous new Withdean show home.
