Rydon Homes is a company committed to improving the communities in which it builds and this includes contributing to local charities.

Rydon’s recent charity golf day, held at the East Sussex National Golf Resort in Little Horsted, Uckfield, raised over £12,000 for The Hospice in The Weald, which serves an area of 400 square miles in West Kent and East Sussex and the team raised £200 by offering champagne and strawberries and cream teas as part of Breast Cancer Care’s Strawberry Tea Fortnight.   Rydon Homes is keen to contribute to ‘good causes’ in the local area as Sales and Marketing Director, Natalie Flint confirms:

“Over the last couple of months, we’ve sponsored one of the PTA’s competitions at the school fete in Staplehurst and provided the under 5s nursery school with £150 to enable them to buy building bricks for the children.”

During September, the Rydon Homes’ sales team will be adding £1 to their ‘show home charity box’ every time they welcome a visitor to the fabulous new show home and the money raised will be given to a local charity.

Weaver’s Place has already attracted plenty of visitors.  Comprising just 11 new homes, traditionally built and designed to complement local architectural styles, Weaver’s Place provides plenty of choice ranging from two and three-bedroom terraced houses to four-bedroom detached houses, gardens and parking or garaging.   Prospective purchasers have been coming from the local area and from Maidstone and Ashford, according to the sales team.  With excellent facilities, access to the London-Dover rail service and to the M20 and A20, this is a particularly good location for commuters.

“We’re doing extremely well at Weaver’s Place in terms of sales,” continues Natalie Flint.  “The development is proving successful and we’ve already taken a number of reservations.   The show home is really worth a visit and we hope that plenty of local people will come and look round - and hopefully bring a friend to increase our charity fund.”
