The Rydon Homes’ sales team had a busy weekend at Heatherview in Crowborough when prospective home buyers arrived in force for the sales and show home launch!

Despite having received plenty of enquiries regarding the new development, located approximately a mile and a half from Crowborough Town Centre, Rydon’s sales team was still overwhelmed at the number of visitors who arrived at the launch, keen to view the stunning new show home.

“It was a case of all hands on deck!   The first people were waiting to view at 10 am and we had a constant stream of prospective purchasers throughout the day,” says Natalie Flint, Sales and Marketing Director for Rydon.  “Many people came from the local area but some travelled down from Middlesex and up from the South Coast especially for the launch.”

According to Rydon Homes, the current economic climate isn’t deterring prospective buyers, who seem more concerned about selling their own properties in a relatively short time scale.

“At least five of those who attended the sales and show home launch are currently having valuations done on their own properties with a view to part-exchanging and possibly moving up the property ladder with a new home at Heatherview. Our part exchange enables eligible purchasers to move much more quickly without many of the hassles normally associated with moving house,” continues Natalie.  “We were delighted with this response which shows that Heatherview has all the ingredients for a successful scheme – that is, an outstanding location, a collection of carefully planned homes, a high level of specification and an excellent standard of finish as the new show home reveals.”

The new show home has certainly been worth waiting for.  One of the largest four-bedroom homes on the development, The Ashdown, provides four bedrooms, a drawing room, dining room, study and kitchen with utility room.   Inside, it has been beautifully designed by Chris Daw of Claude Hooper interiors and, in keeping with the development’s name, the interiors feature rich shades taken from a palette of purples, from lilac and mauve to a deeper shade, all highlighted by the use of silvers and greys. The fabric, furnishings and wall coverings are all textured, appealing strongly to the senses.   Even the landscaping echoes the theme with lavender planted alongside the garden path.   One of the most enchanting features of the show home, however, must be the beautiful balcony to the master bedroom which provides fantastic, far-reaching views over the Downs.
